It’s so routine that many Thais see the bribes and ‘gifts’ they are subject to pay as a kind of unofficial tax, a simple way to try and make life easier for themselves.

For years, this place has a reputation of being dangerous. Narathiwat is dominantly Muslim area and has a large Malay culture, very different from the rest of Thailand. In this video I will explore and reveal the truth about this part of Thailand and if it is safe to travel to.
